Whoever recites ayatulKursi after praying, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering paradise except death. It helps to maintain your calm and not get scared when you're alone. If you recite it twice, two groups of angels are appointed to protect you and if you recite it thrice, Allah himself takes care of you. Reciting it before going out protects you against the evil and Allah appoints a group of angels to protect you. Reciting AyatulKursi as a hadiya for your loved ones who have passed away, enlightens their graves and gives them 'noor' (light) There are fifty words in AyatulKursi and for each word there are fifty blessings in it. Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) said "Quran is a great word, and Surah Baqarah is the leader of the Quran and AyatulKursi is the leader of Surah Baqarah"
Hazrat Ali (R.A) said "The chief if the ayats of the Quran in AyatulKursi" which shows its importance in Islam. Ayatul Kursi is one of the most highlighted ayaats of the Holy Quran.
